1. Get your Bake On
Baking with grandchildren is not only incredibly fun, but can teach your grandchildren some important life skills at the same time! Plus, if you’re less able and rely on an affordable riser recliner, this is a perfect non-strenuous activity.
From using a ready-made mix to dusting off your favourite family recipes, there is no doubt that home baking is one of the best ways to enjoy time with your grandchildren (and of course the sweet treats at the end)
You could even share your secret recipes and write them down, something that they’ll love to keep and pass on when they’re older.
2. Build a Secret Den
Where better to hide, giggle and make believe than in a secret den?
Your grandchildren can spend hours making a den with all sorts of things: riser recliner chairs and tables with sheets or blankets draped over them to name but a few.
Throw in some cushions, blankets and some fairy lights and they will have hours of fun.
